ALICE SHISLER, DIRECTOR, BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, SOCIAL DANCE
Mrs. Shisler received her early training in Richmond from Julia Harper and Eleanor Fry. A UVA graduate, she has continued dance education with trips to New York and Alanta in leading schools and conventions. Mrs. Shisler holds a teacher’s certificate in Cecchetti Ballet Method, is a member of Dance Masters of America, and studied at the Paris American Academy in France. She is founder and director of the Academy Dance Company, Inc., for which she has done extensive choreography. She is listed in “Who’s Who of American Women, “and in “Who’s Who of Performing Arts”
